About Studio 22

More Than a Yoga Studio

Studio 22 was created with a simple belief: yoga should be a place where you can come excatly as you are and leave feeling better than when you walked in.

We're more than a place to stretch and move. We're a space to slow down, challenge yourself, breathe a little deeper, and make time for yourself. Whether youre looking to build strength, improve flexibility, reduce stress, find balance, or simply carve out a small part of your day for yourself, Studio 22 is here to support you.

Our goal is to create a community where people know they belong. A place where you can walk through the door on your best day - or your hardest day - and still feel welcome.

We beleive that yoga isn't about touching your toes or getting into the "perfect" pose. It's about learning to listen to your body, quiet your mind, build confidence, and discover what you're capable of - one breath and one practice at a time.

At Studio 22, we celebrate progress over perfection. We encourage you to challenge yourself while also honoring where you are today. Some days your practice may be strong and energetic. Other days, it may be gentle and restorative. Both are perfectly okay.

Most importantly, we believe in the power of community. The people who walk through our doors are what make Studio 22 special. We're here to encourage one another, celebrate the small victories, support each other through the hard days, and create a space where everyone feels like they have a place.

This is your practice. Your Journey. Your space.

Come move with us. Come breathe with us. Come grow with us.

New Student Guide

We're Glad You're Here!

Trying a new yoga studio for the first time can feel a little imtimidating - but don't worry, we've got you! Whether you've never taken a yoga class before or you're simply new to Studio 22, we want you to feel compfortable from the moment you arrive.

Where We're Located

65 Central Ave NW

Cleveland, TN 37311

Parking

There is on-the-street parking right in front of the studio on both sides of the street. Or there is also street parking anywhere around the block. Anywhere you park is pretty much within walking distance to the studio.

When To Come

For your first visit, we recommend arriving 15-20 minutes before class begins. This gives you plenty of time to find the studio, check in, get comfortable, and ask any questions you may have.

Once you've been to the studio a few times, you'll know exactly where you're going - but we recommend still arriving atleast 10-15 minutes before class starts.

What Does it Cost

All classes are only $5.00 each

What You Should Bring

You don't need a fancy yoga wardrobe or a bag full of equipment to get started.

See below for what we recommend bringing:

- Comfortable clothing you can easily move in

- Water bottle (we also provide bottled water if needed)

- Yoga Mat (we have extras, if you do not have one)

- Small towel, especially for heated classes.

- Open mind and a willingness to try something new.

What To Expect

Your first class may be different from what you imagined - and that's okay!

Your instructor will guide you through the class and offer modifications throughout the practice. You are always encouraged to listen to your body and take a break whenever you need one.

You don't have to be flexible.

You don't have to know the poses.

You don't have to keep up with everyone else.

You don't have to look like a "yoga person".

You just have to show up.

Yoga is a practice, not a performance.

Taking A Heated Class

If you're attending one of our heated classes for the first time, come prepared to sweat!

Drink plenty of water before class and bring water with you (we also provide bottled water). A towel is highly recommended and wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.

If you ever feel uncomfortable, dizzy, overheated, or like you need a break, take one. Listen to your body. Your body comes first.

If you are brand new to yoga, we recommend starting with our Beginner Class, before jumping into a more advanced heated class.

A Few Things To Know

Be yourself. There is no dress code and no expectation that you look or move a certain way.

Listen to your body. Your practice is yours. Take modifications, rest when you need to, and never feel pressured to do something that doesn't feel right.

Phones down, presence up. We ask that you silence your phone and give permission to disconnect during class.

Give yourself grace. Some days you'll feel strong. Some days you'll feel tired. That's part of the practice.

Ask questions. If you aren't sure about something, ask! Our instructors are here to help.

There is no competition. The person next to you isn't your competition, and neither is the person at the front of the room. Yoga is about your own journey.

Most Importantly

You don't have to be "good at yoga" to come to Studio 22.

You don't have to wait until you're stronger, more flexible, healthier, or more confident.

Start exactly where you are. Come exactly as you are.

We'll meet you there.

We can't wait to welcome you to the Studio 22 community!!
